Bikers

A biker relay since 2016,  our holiday village welcomes your groups or clubs in the greatest comfort  to discover the roads of Auvergne and Cantal.
We offer packages including accommodation and catering adapted to your desires (breakfast, picnic basket, dinner, etc.).

In Cantal, a day in Salers and Puy Mary will become a must-see. Near Saint Flour, go and recognize the Garabit Viaduct or the Chaudes-Aigues hot spring.

On the Corrèze side, you will ride between Argentat and the Tours de Merle, for sensational expeditions.

We also recommend visiting the Gouffre de Padirac and Rocamadour in Lot to complete your stay.
After a great day on the road, you can recover in the waters of the swimming pool or the lake, and why not the Jacuzzi…

The terrace of the bar / restaurant will also be a popular place for "bikers" to come back from a day of sightseeing, and while waiting to taste traditional dishes like Truffade or Pounti.

Do not hesitate to contact us for  a tailor-made stay  and always in the best conditions with a smart budget!

Fishermen

Fishermen

Located on the shores of Lake Enchanet , our Camping La Gineste is a true paradise for fishermen. With its 17 km length , this preserved lake, fed by the Marronne, Bertrande and Etze rivers , offers clear, quality water, ideal for fishing and swimming

An Exceptional Fishing Site

Thanks to the speed limit on the lake , water sports are rare, offering a calm and wild setting, perfect for fishing enthusiasts. Predators are king : pikeperch, pike, perch are present in large numbers, not forgetting trout , regularly reintroduced by the local fishing society.

Adapted Infrastructures

  • Launch accessible all year round , ideal even in very cold weather when the lake level drops and predator fishing is optimal.
  • Pontoon reserved for our customers as an option to moor your boat safely, close to your accommodation.
  • Rental of boats equipped with thermal engines , reservation on site.
  • Rivers nearby for trout fishing enthusiasts.
At La Gineste, experience a unique fishing trip in Cantal, in a natural and friendly setting!

Marked Trails for All Hikers

We have created 5 hiking trails around Lake Enchanet , allowing you to discover the local flora and fauna . These routes, ranging from 6 to 12 km , offer varied elevation changes to satisfy both casual walkers and seasoned hikers . A community circuit completes the routes accessible from the holiday village.

Starting directly from your chalet, you will quickly reach the wooded trails, perfect for a sporty stroll or an outing in the great outdoors. In the fall, go picking ceps and chanterelles , a friendly activity that will delight young and old!
Nearby, the Monts du Cantal offer numerous hikes, including the famous GR 400 , which crosses the Cantal volcanoes and guarantees breathtaking panoramas.

A Paradise for Cycle Tourists

Cycling enthusiasts will be delighted! 60 km from Puy Mary (Pas de Peyrol pass) , our campsite is ideally located for taking on sporting challenges. This pass, which hosted a Tour de France finish on July 10, 2020, offers a demanding climb with an average gradient of 15% over the last 2 kilometers .

Your route will take you through Salers , classified among the most beautiful villages in France , as well as magnificent mountain landscapes. We will advise you on routes adapted to your level and your desires for an unforgettable experience.
Whether you are a hiker or cyclist, alone or in a group, we are at your disposal to organize a tailor-made sports and nature stay in Cantal. Do not hesitate to contact us for any information request or quote!
